Brand strategist and BRND WGN Founder Peter-Jan Grech delivered a keynote presentation at Marketing Next 25, one of the Mediterranean’s leading marketing conferences, held earlier this week in Cyprus.

The annual event brings together global marketing leaders, innovators, and educators, with this year’s edition featuring high-level collaborators and speakers from LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, and Meta.

Mr Grech’s keynote, titled “The RockNRole™ Personal Branding Framework,” challenged marketers and agency professionals to look inward before building outward.

“Before we build for clients, we need clarity and credibility of our own,” he told delegates, introducing a practical framework designed to help professionals articulate their value, strengthen positioning, and create consistent impact.

The session offered a fast-paced and actionable reframe of personal branding for the modern marketer to help transform intent into consistent signal.

He emphasised that personal branding is not about ego, but about service, proof, and momentum: three principles he described as essential for building trust and leadership in today’s competitive landscape.

Angelos Potamitis, Director and Founder of Marketing Next, described Mr Grech’s contribution as one of the event’s defining moments.

“Peter-Jan brought a level of authenticity and clarity that truly resonated with our audience,” Mr Potamitis said.

“His approach to personal branding cuts through the noise with its focus on aligning purpose, proof, and consistency. That message felt especially relevant for marketers navigating constant change and digital saturation.”

Marketing Next 25 attracted hundreds of attendees from across the Mediterranean region, including brand directors, agency leaders, and executives from major technology and media companies.

Mr Potamitis added that Mr Grech’s participation underscored the growing influence of Malta’s creative sector within the Mediterranean marketing landscape.

“We were proud to have Peter-Jan share the stage alongside leaders from across Europe. His perspective from Malta added real depth to the discussion: a reminder that innovation and leadership can come from any market when rooted in clarity and intent.”

Through its mix of thought leadership, workshops, and networking sessions, the conference has positioned itself as a hub for innovation and collaboration across markets.
