Ronald Attard

Ronald Attard, Country Managing Partner at EY for Malta and Cyprus, has been appointed Managing Partner for Risk Management at EY Europe Central.

In his new role, Mr Attard will oversee risk management across EY’s Europe Central Region, which spans 33 countries, covering the Nordics, Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, as well as Central Asia. The region comprises a team of approximately 27,000 professionals.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Attard tells MaltaCEOs.mt, “EY, with its market-leading capabilities across these geographies and its relentless focus on exceptional client service, is best placed to address today’s business challenges in a rapidly evolving environment.”

Mr Attard will continue to serve as Country Managing Partner for Malta and Cyprus, a position he has held for several years, overseeing operations, strategy, and growth within both markets.

Throughout his career, Mr Attard has built experience in management accounting, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he previously served as Strategy and Transactions Managing Partner for Central and South East Europe and Central Asia (CESA), leading a team of over 1,000 professionals across 29 countries.

In addition to his roles at EY, he is also a senior visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.
