Michelle Farrugia, Founder and Managing Director of luxury concept Sarto, marked the return of the exclusive Su Misura service by Ermenegildo Zegna at the boutique, just in time for summer activities.
This bespoke personalised service will be present in store between 19th and 21st May 2022, both days included. This will be available by appointment only.
“After a successful season last year, we are pleased to launch our first spring / summer Su Misura collection,” Ms Farrugia said.
“This season is full of excitement and promise as it provides us with the opportunity to introduce new menswear styles and light fabrics for our local clientelle,” she continued.
The aim of the Su Misura service is to provide clients a completely personalised experience, thus enabling Zegna to dress any man in the way best suited for his style, personality, measurements, and body type.
“The collection is very diverse – from tailoring suits, blazers, and shirts to also a new sportier and more immersive menswear universe, adding new categories like over-shirts and sneakers. This will surely be able to cater to any man’s needs,” Ms Farrugia added.
“Following a return to normality, the wedding season is right around the corner, and it is the perfect time to get a bespoke outfit for grooms and guests and personalise the whole attire for their special occasion,” she continued.
The Su Misura service ensures that all of the garments’ finishing touches are done by hand, right down to the sewing of the inside label on every suit that bears the name of the customer for a truly immersive personalized experience
“Zegna is embarking on an exciting project in its company’s history. From the end of last year, the brand has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange and will be rebranding its collection as simply Zegna – a change that will be complete by fall / winter 2022,” Ms Farrugia noted.
“This means discontinuing the Z-Zegna line and folding Sartori’s ‘couture’ show into the main collection under one shared name, Zegna. The move signifies a shift toward a ‘lifestyle luxury’ brand focusing on high-quality clothing and accessories designed for a broad consumer base seeking its signature tailored aesthetics,” the Sarto Founder concluded.
The Head of Made to Measure, Mr. Alessandro Opice, and his team will be available exclusively by private appointment to assist in the personalisation of clients’ garments. Limited space is available.
