HSBC Bank Malta announced the appointment of Terecina Kwong as Non-Executive Director, subject to regulatory approval.

The London-based Non-Executive Director succeeds Matthew Colebrook, who resigned from said role on 28th February.

HSBC Malta’s Board of Directors expressed its gratitude towards Mr Colebrook for his “sterling service to the bank since November 2020.”

Ms Kwong currently also holds the roles of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HSBC Europe and Non-Executive Director at HSBC Armenia.

She started her career at the HSBC Group via the Hong Kong Management Associate Programme in 2000.

Ms Kwong has since held several senior positions within the bank, including Global Head of Channels Distribution, Global Commercial Banking Chief Risk and Administration Officer, and Global Control Office Chief Operating Officer.
