Theodoros Papadopoulos

Bank of Valletta (BOV) announced that Theodoros Papadopoulos has transitioned from his role as Chief Digital Officer to Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCXO).

His remit as CCXO is extensive, encompassing leadership over Customer Experience, User Experience, the Creative Hub, Digital Presence, and Complaints Management.

Mr Papadopoulos joined BOV in September 2021 as Chief Digital Officer, bringing a wealth of expertise in digital innovation and customer-focused strategies. As a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee, he contributed significantly to projects involving Customer Experience, Voice of the Customer, Design Thinking, and Customer Journey Mapping.

Before joining BOV, Mr Papadopoulos held prominent roles in international organisations. Between 2011 and 2016, he worked at Booking.com in the Netherlands, where he rose to Manager of Strategic Partnerships.

From 2016, he served as Director of User Experience at Eurobank EFG in Athens, Greece, driving the bank’s digital transformation and significantly enhancing its market presence.

Mr Papadopoulos’ career is underpinned by a solid academic foundation. He holds an MSc in Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia from Stockholm University, an MSc in International Business (Public Policy) from Södertörn University in Sweden, and a BA in Public Relations and Communication Policy, according to a company statement.
