The Employment 360 Conference is set to provide in-depth knowledge on the most pressing topics in the ever-evolving landscape of employment law.

Taking place on 13th March at the Marsa Sports Club, it is an event for HR professionals, employers, legal practitioners, and business leaders alike.

The event will bring together leading experts in legal matters, human resources, business practices, and policy-making to discuss various topics.

Key discussions will include the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the gender pay gap, job evaluation methodologies, immigration law updates, and the future of workplace diversity and inclusion.

What to expect

The Employment 360 Conference has keynote presentations, expert panels, and interactive case studies, all aimed at providing insights and knowledge on topics such as GDPR, health and safety, discrimination, and more.

The conference will also offer an opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain insights into the legal and regulatory landscape in Malta.

Attendees will be provided with practical tools to navigate the complex compliance and regulatory requirements that businesses face throughout the employment lifecycle – from recruitment and contracting to handling performance management, grievances, and termination.

The event kicks off at 08:30am with registration and coffee, followed by an opening session at 09:00am where Paul Gonzi, partner at Fenech & Fenech, will set the scene for the day. The first major session, titled “Transparency: A Cultural Transformation in the Workplace – How will Law, HR and Tech Respond?” will run from 09:30am to 10:45am and feature insights from key speakers, including Paul Gonzi, Mikela Fenech Pace, Diane Vella Muscat, and more.

Following a coffee break from 10:45am to 11:05am, attendees can engage in the “Job Evaluation” Case-Study session, where the practical aspects of implementing equal pay will be explored, featuring experts such as Kristina Abela and Marta Zammit.

At 12:30pm, Kristina Abela will provide insights into “Gender Pay Gap Reporting & Joint Pay Assessments”, before a networking lunch from 01:00pm to 02:00pm.

The afternoon will see updates on Immigration Law & Policy from 14:00 to 14:30, and the day will conclude with an insightful “What to Look Forward to in 2025” session.
