Maltese Lawyer Yanica Sant has joined online gaming giant William Hill as Group Senior Counsel (Regulatory) at their headquarters in London.

Dr Sant moves to William Hill from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) where she had been General Counsel since 2021.

“I can happily confirm that I will be joining William Hill as Group Senior Counsel (Regulatory) at their London office,” Dr Sant wrote.

“I am forever grateful to the Malta Gaming Authority and to all the staff, especially the CEO Carl Brincat for the opportunities (and friendships!) I have been provided over the past seven and a half years,”

Ms Sant joined the MGA in 2014 as a Legal Department Intern, before holding roles as Legal Advisor, Senior Legal Advisor & DPO, Head of EU Affairs and Policy & DPO and finally General Counsel.

William Hill Limited is a global online gambling company based in London, England. It was previously listed on the London Stock Exchange until it was acquired by Caesars Entertainment in April 2021.
