The Academy of Givers will host the fifth edition of its Annual Conference and Impact Fair on 24th March at The Xara Lodge, bringing together business leaders, ESG professionals and voluntary organisations to discuss strategic approaches to corporate giving and social impact.
This year’s theme, “Giving Better”, aims to address Malta’s environmental, social and structural pressures – including land scarcity, population growth and increasing demands on social and health systems – by encouraging a shift from ad-hoc charitable initiatives towards more structured, collaborative and outcome-driven giving models.
According to the organisers, the conference will feature data-driven insights from KPMG Malta, alongside panel discussions and keynote contributions focused on how businesses, NGOs, philanthropists and institutions can work together to strengthen Malta’s social and environmental resilience.
Among the highlights announced are a keynote address by operatic tenor and philanthropist Joseph Calleja, a “Pitch Fest” showcasing NGO initiatives, and discussions centred on environmental and societal challenges. The programme will also include networking opportunities aimed at CEOs, executives, HR and CSR managers, ESG officers, corporate foundations and leaders of social purpose organisations.
Running alongside the conference, an Impact Fair will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with organisations working on social and environmental issues in Malta.
The Academy of Givers said the event builds on the momentum of previous editions and seeks to support businesses in strengthening their ESG and CSR strategies through knowledge-sharing and partnerships.
The full agenda and registration details are available on the Academy of Givers’ official website.
