Malta-listed Agora Estates plc has announced a key change to its board of directors with the appointment of Calvin Bartolo as Non-Executive Director, effective 17th December 2025. This appointment follows the decision of Isabella Vella to step down from her role as Non-Executive Director on the same date.
Mr Bartolo brings with him a wealth of experience, having founded and currently managing a boutique advisory firm. With over 15 years of senior experience in the banking sector, his expertise spans leadership roles in strategy, finance and treasury.
Additionally, Mr Bartolo has served as company secretary and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Mr Bartolo also has considerable experience in the insurance sector. He holds degrees in Banking & Finance and Management, and maintains professional memberships with the Chartered Banker Institute and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
