Alex Thomson Mizzi will be joining the team at Wicked Games headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus, after being named its new Chief of Operations.

He will be responsible for driving operations across all of its product verticals as the company gears up “for a massive 2025.”

“We’re moving fast and bringing the best with us,” the company said in the announcement.

Mr Thomson Mizzi has extensive experience in business having co-founded various companies. This includes co-founding and lecturing at DFDJ School, a private institute focusing on the education of music through digital platforms.

He also co-founded and served as the COO of Growth Gurus, a digital marketing agency. Furthermore, throughout his career, he explored different freelance work including in event management and consultancy. Additionally, he also dabbled in strategic advisory with Blockchart and Fat Fruit.

Mr Thomson Mizzi describes himself as being skilled in “transforming business chaos into efficiency with smart systems and a people-first approach.”

He graduated in Audio Engineering and Audio Production.

Based in Cyprus, with a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence to operate in Malta, Wicked Games was founded in 2014 as a games production company for online and land-based casino markets. Aside from the Malta and Cyprus offices, the company has a presence in Belgrade.

The company set its eyes on expansion as 2024 was marked with its shift to a direct-to-operator studio.
