Alicia Vella, a long-standing employee at Birkirkara-based Mazars in Malta, has been promoted to Director.
Ms Vella took to social media last weekend to announce said appointment, which has been in effect since February 2022.
“I’m proud and excited to be entrusted with this new role. I look forward to continue my personal development within the firm and contribute to Mazar’s journey in delivering high quality services to our clients,” the newly appointed Director wrote.
“Thank you to those who have supported me throughout this journey, both on a personal and professional level,” she continued.
Ms Vella joined Mazars in Malta as a Senior Manager back in January 2010. She held said position for 12 years before her latest promotion.
Mazars in Malta, a leading professional services firm, started its journey as a small firm known as Attard Giglio and Co back in 1998.
Before joining said company, Ms Vella served as an Account Clerk at Blevins Franks for just over a year.
The Managing Director stated that these appointments align with Vivian’s focus on technology, sales performance, and professional development.
Policy consultant Brendan Zerafa and MP Darren Carabott weigh in on what this means for business and politics.
The nominations process allows individuals who meet the Company’s suitability criteria to be considered for inclusion in the Nominations Pool.
The experts called for tax incentives, policy changes, and foreign investment to boost liquidity on the Malta Stock Exchange.
