Alison Lowell has been appointed Head of Employee Experience at iGaming firm BeyondPlay, she announced on Monday.

This means that she has left Casumo after more than a year, having served as Workplace Experience Manager during that time.

She described this change as a “significant” career move that “embodies the philosophy of being in the ‘right place at the right time’”.

“Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible team at Casumo, where I’ve have the opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to some remarkable projects,” Ms Lowell said, before expressing gratitude to Chief HR Officer Beatrice Martin, who was a “mentor” and a “friend”.

Ms Lowell remarked that Ms Maritn’s support and guidance proved to be “instrumental” in her professional journey.

Announcing her new role, Ms Lowell said that over the course of her career, she has “always embraced change and sought new challenges”.

“I firmly believe that being at the right place, at the right time isn’t just a matter of luck – it’s a mindset, a combination of preparedness and seizing opportunities as they arise,” she continued.

BeyondPlay is an iGaming startup that seeks to “translate the latest trends into cutting-edge technology”, combining traditional gaming experiences with the needs of the next generation of players. It is a fully remote and flexible organisation with employees from a range of countries, including the UK, Poland, Malta, Spain, Portugal, and Bulgaria, among others.

Ms Lowell expressed excitement at having the opportunity to work alongside BeyondPlay Founder and CEO Karolina Pelc and Chief Operating Officer Jacqui Gatt, together with the “incredible team” that was assembled.

“Their innovative approach, dedication to making a positive impact, and vision for the future align perfectly with my career goals and values,” she added.

She thanked all the people who have been part of her career so far, and is excited to connect with old friends and make new ones as she continues to navigate the “ever-evolving landscape of iGaming”.

Ms Pelc and Ms Gatt both welcomed her to the team, with the former adding that having someone like Ms Lowell who can take BeyondPlay to a “new level” has been “long overdue”.

Over the course of her career, Ms Lowell has amassed various years of experience at a number of companies, including Remax Alliance and Royce Tech. She has qualifications in HR management and development, as well as occupational psychology.
