Pierre Pellegrini Petit, long-standing Managing Director at Attard & Co Food took to social media to bid farewell to Confectionery Division Manager George Debattista as he sets off on his retirement.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank George Debattista for 16 years of service to our company,” Mr Pellegrini Petit wrote.

“George was a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate worker and we would like to wish him the best on his retirement. Thank you, George, and enjoy your free time with family and friends,” the Managing Director continued.

The company’s Retail Division Manager, Antoine Cardona, took to the post’s comments section to bid Mr Debattista farewell.

“Having worked with George Debattista, he was an inspiration, having been one of the strongest pediments of Attard & Co Food,” he wrote.

Attard & Co Food is a subsidiary of Attard & Co, a family-owned business that was founded back in 1921. Since then, the company has diversified its operations and has become one of the leading importers and a prominent strategic player within the Maltese market.
