Bernard Bonnici on Monday announced that he has been named Director of Business Tax Compliance at EY Malta.
His new position comes after more than 13 years at the professional services firm, having most recently served as Senior Manager within the tax compliance department for more than two years. Aside from that, he was also a Manager within the same department at EY Malta.
Over the years he has been tasked with assisting clients from the incorporation of their company all the way to performing accounting work, also producing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, all while ensuring they are in compliance with international accounting standards, among other tasks.
Mr Bonnici’s experience also includes eight years as Accounts Administrator at Transport Malta, as well as a stint as a Clerk at Koptaco Coaches Cooperative.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), and is particularly skilled in corporate tax and financial reporting, as well as conducting payroll and tax returns.
