David Camilleri has been promoted to the position of Director of Finance at Corinthia Hotels Limited.

Based in Malta, Corinthia Hotels Limited is a hotel, resort and catering management company which manages hotels under the Corinthia brand on a global basis.

David first started his journey at the luxury hotel chain in April 2013 as an Accounts Executive, occupying various roles within Corinthia’s finance department. As he worked his way up the ladder, David’s most recent promotion sees him taking on the Director of Finance role.

He is a certified public accountant, as well as a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

As for Corinthia Hotels, the company is in the midst of various projects around the world. Its Corinthia Bucharest project is slated for an official opening in March 2024, while extensive redevelopment is underway for the Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels project.

In Malta, the Corinthia Oasis project will mark the Group’s return to the island, where the brand first commenced operations in 1962. Located at Hal-Ferh (Ghajn Tuffieha) at the site of former military barracks and a disused holiday complex, the project sees Corinthia embark on a new project in Malta – something that has not taken place for several years.

It is also carrying out major projects in Doha, New York and Saudi Arabia.

It currently operates hotels in Malta, Budapest (Hungary), St Petersburg (Russia), Lisbon (Portugal), Prague (Czech Republic), Tripoli (Libya), Khartoum (Sudan) and London (UK).
