David Gasan, Managing Partner at Bamford Capital and Former Director at Gasan Group, took to social media to commemorate 93 years since his grandfather, Joseph Gasan, signed a concession agreement with Henry Ford – founder of Ford Motor Company.

The concession agreement, signed in 1928, allowed the late Joseph Gasan to represent the Ford Motor Company in Malta.

“Very proud of my family’s heritage, the long-standing partnership with Ford Motor Company, and the entrepreneurial drive of my grandfather,” Mr Gasan wrote.

“[Joseph Gasan] passed on the baton to my father, Joseph Gasan [Jr], who in turn passed it on to the third generation,” he continued.

Joseph Gasan, that is, David Gasan’s father, has been serving as Gasan Group’s Chairman since 1971.

David Gasan had served as Gasan Group’s Director for just under 10 years. Presently, he serves as Founder and Owner of Gasan Investments and Managing Partner at Sydney-based investment management firm Bamford Capital.
