On Monday (today), Dizz Finance plc appointed Stanley Mifsud as Independent Non-Executive Director of the company.

Mr Mifsud will be replacing Nigel Scerri, that stepped down from this role on 31st October.

He was also appointed to the Audit Committee of the company, joining Chairman Joseph Schembri and Adrian Sciberras.

Mr Mifsud has over 25 years of experience in senior management roles within the private and public sector.

Currently, he is the CEO of Applecore Foods Ltd. In the past he also acted as General Manager of Island Insurance Management Services Ltd, an MFSA regulated insurance management company and CEO of a Malta Investment Management Company, a public sector company, amongst other roles.

He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of a number of companies, Chaired the Board of Directors of an MFSA licensed insurance company and also acted as a Director on the Board of the European Investment Bank and a member of the risk committee of the same international financial institution.

Mr Mifsud holds a Master in Financial Services from the University of Malta and an MBA of the UK’s Henley Management College.
