€12,000 was raised for the Richmond Foundation during a birthday celebration organised for one of Maypole’s director Sebastian Debono.

Mr Debono has become the face of the Maypole brand, becoming well known for his videos on social media.

Ahead of the event, Mr Debono asked guests not to bring birthday presents. Instead, he encouraged them to make a donation to the Richmond Foundation, Maypole said.

The celebration brought together guests for an evening filled with warmth and generosity, the company said. “Thanks to everyone’s contributions, a total of €12,000 was successfully collected and donated directly to the Foundation.”

The funds will support the Richmond Foundation’s work and help make a positive difference in the lives of people who rely on its various services.

Maypole expressed its sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the initiative.
