FinanceMalta on Friday announced that today marks the last day at the office for its Chief Operating Officer Ivan Grech, who is stepping down from the role.
He first joined FinanceMalta in 2015 as Head of Business Development, a position he held for three years and nine months, after which he was appointed COO.
In a statement, the public-private organisation said that without Ivan’s “dedication and hard work, it would not have been possible for the foundation to reach new heights of success”.
FinanceMalta is tasked with promoting Malta as an international financial services jurisdiction, and on Thursday held its 15th Annual Conference.
Bidding farewell to the outgoing COO, the team remarked that Ivan’s “positive energy and bright ideas made work so much more enjoyable”.
He was thanked for providing “great leadership”.
Prior to joining the organisation, Ivan gained over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive industry, spending eight years at Auto Sales Ltd and another eight years at Gasan Enterprises Limited.
