MaltaCEOs.mt contributor Nathan Farrugia, a business coach and Managing Director of Vistage, XTERRA and UP Ltd, is no stranger to an outdoor adventure, and his most recent is a trip to the Tatra Mountains in eastern Europe, on the border between Slovakia and Poland.

The record-breaking athlete often speaks out about the importance of finding the right motivation and purpose so as to achieve amazing results and be a better leader, and his latest trip is an extension of this belief.

“People often ask, ‘how do you find time to go on these adventures with all your responsibilities?’ and my answer is that it IS my responsibility to also practice what I preach at our Vistage Malta meetings,” he writes in a social media post about the trip.

Advocating for spending time outdoors to recharge your brain, he says that getting out of his comfort zone makes me him not just a better business leader, but also a better husband, parent and colleague too.

“Find enjoyment in your discomfort, and get comfortable with it… It’s where you grow,” he urges.
