Robert Cassar, former CEO at EuroBridge, on Monday announced the launch of his new recruitment agency, Heroix, with the aim of building “long-term relationships” with business clients.

His decision comes after he recently expressed his desire to move to a “new project”, bringing to an end his time at EuroBridge. At the time, Mr Cassar had kept his intention to launch Heroix under wraps, choosing to focus on ensuring a “seamless and thorough handover” at EuroBridge, with David Abela being appointed as his successor a few weeks later.

Describing Heroix to MaltaCEOs.mt, Mr Cassar said that it is a recruitment agency focused on “connecting the right candidates with the right company”.

He stated that the agency’s core philosophy is grounded in “long-term goals, fostering connections with business clients and job seekers seeking their next career move”.

“Heroix goes beyond the approach of merely exchanging CVs and job advertisements by employing thorough vetting processes for potential candidates and aligning the candidate’s attributes and skills with the unique culture of client companies,” Mr Cassar added.

He explained that Heroix’s mission is inspired by the words of leadership expert Jim Collins, who said that one needs to find “the right people, in the right seat, on the right bus”. The agency will be located at BusinessLabs at Birkirkara, and is also accessible through its web portal by clicking here.

Mr Cassar has years of experience in people management, coupled with dedicated studies and a passion for facilitating success in organisations. He started his career with a series of roles at Vodafone (now Epic) within the human resources management, marketing, and commercial space. He then moved to MaltaPost to lead its business relations and international relations teams, before becoming EuroBridge CEO in 2021.

He is a Master of Business Administration graduate from University of Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge, and is a Visiting Lecturer for various educational institutions in Malta.
