Salvo Grima Group of Companies has appointed Gabriele Vecchi Chief Financial Officer.

Group Chief Executive Officer of Salvo Grima Group, Karl Aquilina, welcomed Mr Vecchi and noted that his expertise and international experience will be of great value to the Group’s expanding operations across several jurisdictions and geographical locations, as it operates in eight countries in Europe and Africa.

In 2012, Mr Vecchi was appointed Group CFO at Transmec Group, where he worked for over three years. Later, in 2018, he was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, and Group Chief Operations and Financial Officer at Treee Srl, an environmental services company.

He then held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer, and Group Chief Operations and Financial Officer, at Debono Group.

He has more than 30 years of senior level financial experience with multinational corporations in the manufacturing, logistics, distribution and services sectors in Europe, Africa, South America and the United States.
