Glenn Debattista, Head of Product at Sliema-based Web International Services Ltd (WIS), announced that he will be parting ways with the company next month.

Mr Debattista joined WIS in November 2019 as Product Manager – Sportsbook. Six months later, he was promoted to Lead Product Manager. The following month, he was appointed Head of Product, a position which he has held since.

“In June I will be embarking on a new professional journey – more about this closer to the date,” Mr Debattista wrote on social media.

“My main mission now is to leave the Product Department at Web International Services Ltd in the best possible hands of our new Head of Product,” he continued.

Founded in 2012, WIS is an affiliate marketing company set on acquiring new clients for iGaming and financial services companies.

Since its launch, WIS has been developing bespoke content and comparison websites with the objective of sourcing new clients within its clients’ target market.

Prior to joining WIS, Mr Debattista built up a wealth of experience in the local iGaming industry.

From 2009 to 2019, he held several roles at the Malta-based Stanleybet Group, starting off as a Trader and working his way up to Risk Manager / Team Leader and Trading Manager of Retail and Online Business.

He also served as a Risk Manager / Team Leader and Junior Risk Manager / Trader at mybet.com from 2005 to 2009.
