“80 Mill Street represents a new way of banking that embodies HSBC’s drive to deliver a suite of world-class banking services to our customers as we open up a world of opportunity,” said HSBC Bank Malta CEO Simon Vaughan Johnson at the inauguration of the banks’ new flagship branch in Qormi yesterday.

“We’re proud that this branch is among the first in the HSBC Group to have the new ‘look and feel’,” he continued, referencing the emphasis on customer experience at what is now HSBC Malta’s largest branch.

“80 Mill Street has been designed around customer experience and is open until 7:00pm, Monday to Friday and from 8:30am – 12:30pm on Saturday, providing the longest banking hours of any bank in Malta,” said the CEO. The branch also boasts 20 on-site parking spaces, including two charging bays for electric vehicles.

The new branch was inaugurated by Dr George Vella, the President of Malta, in the presence of HSBC Bank Malta’s Chairman, the Board, and the bank’s Executive team.

Expressing his gratitude to the team that worked on the new branch, Mr Vaughan Johnson concluded, “I’d like to express my sincere thanks to the team who have worked extremely hard to deliver this project in such challenging times.”
