Silvano Azzopardi has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Hudson Group, with his tenure officially starting on Thursday (today).

With extensive experience in senior finance roles worldwide, Mr Azzopardi played a pivotal role in building an international business in Asia from the ground up, transforming it into a highly profitable operation, and oversaw the financial operations of a global business unit with revenues exceeding €1 billion, according to a company announcement.

His expertise includes establishing operations for companies and manufacturing plants across China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan.

Additionally, he brings vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in legal, compliance, HR, sourcing, and administration.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Malta. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford.
