“I’m not going to lie, it’s been a challenging 14 months behind the scenes,” shares Sass Woods, Co-founder of SHE: Social Hub Entrepreneurs, which brings women from various career backgrounds together to connect, engage and inspire.
Sharing her own entrepreneurial journey on social media, Ms Woods explains that, since the start of the pandemic, “there’s been highs and lows and everything in between – days of pure joy and excitement and others of despair and frustration.”
But in the face of adversity and obstacles, Ms Woods says “I have CHOSEN to move forward. I have chosen to pursue my dream of building a community with purpose. One that brings women together on a social level first and foremost, one that supports, encourages and exposes women to new ideas and ways of thinking.”
“I have learnt to harness my strengths, to push myself outside of my comfort zone and to LISTEN,” she adds.
Through SHE, Ms Woods is committed to helping potential or existing business owner connect with other likeminded women, find opportunity and realise their goals, with the ultimate aim of sharing knowledge, telling stories, discussing topical issues and networking.
