Maria Sayapina, an experienced employee in the local iGaming industry, has joined St Julian’s-based company Game Lounge as Head of Performance.

Ms Sayapina took to social media to announce her appointment.

Founded in 2011 by Jonas Cederholm and Fredrik Langeland, Game Lounge provides digital marketing services for a variety of industries, with a specific focus on the online casino space.

Amongst its assets, Game Lounge owns a portfolio of affiliate sites targeting various markets around the world, from the Nordics to Japan.

Prior to joining Game Lounge, the newly appointed Head of Performance spent just under six years at Raketech Group. Throughout this period, Ms Sayapina worked her way up the group’s SEO department, having served as SEO Manager, Senior SEO Manager, and Head of SEO.

Earlier on in her career, the Head of Performance was based in the United States, wherein she served as VP Marketing at San Francisco company Hydrosphere.io. This experience was preceded by a two year tenure as Marketing Consultant at Palo Alto-based enterprise Provectus.
