Brian Bartolo, a veteran in the hospitality and marketing industries, has joined Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Golden Sands as Director of Sales and Marketing.
The hotel is home to 144 rooms, 164 suites, four on-site restaurants, and three on-site bars, amongst other amenities.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Bartolo worked as Head of Marketing and Director of Sales and Marketing at Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta over a 10-year span.
Since 2009, he has also served as Marketing Tutor at the Henley Business School.
Towards the start of this career, Mr Bartolo spent just under 16 years occupying a variety of roles at national carrier Air Malta.
He joined the company back in 1995 as Assistant Manager for Passenger Sales Europe and worked his way up to General Manager for Marketing & Product. Mr Bartolo left said company in 2011.

He has held various senior leadership positions within the technology and gaming sectors.
Ivan Refalo also adds that another challenge faced by local employers is the increase of mental-health issues among their employees.
The company has announced the appointment of two new international partners.
