Izzy Hyzler has announced she “quietly stepped” into the role of CEO of Growth Gurus last October.

Growth Gurus is an award-winning marketing agency working with international brands, based in Malta.

Hyzler took over from previous CEO Josh O’Cock, and expressed her gratitude for the responsibility ahead.

“I feel incredibly grateful to Josh O’Cock, who has been an inspiring leader and mentor, and to Alex Thomson Mizzi, who co-built the foundations of this company. It’s safe to say that I have big shoes to fill,” she wrote.

Josh O’Cock will still be leading the vision of Growth Gurus and she will be working closely with him to bring that vision to life.

“Working with someone who inspires you on a daily basis and also supports and believes in you is a huge honour,” she added.

“This video [below] captures some highlights of the journey that’s brought me here.”

“But behind these moments are also the late nights working after the kids are asleep. The balancing act of motherhood, leadership, and the ever-growing to-do lists. There’s also been grit and exhaustion but so much love for what we do – for our clients, and for the incredible team I get to work alongside every day.”

Hyzler closed off by saying that learning, evolving, and bringing that energy into their clients’ businesses is what drives her.

“I’m excited to lead Growth Gurus into its next chapter — alongside our clients, our team, and all the people who’ve supported me along the way.”
