KonnektTalexio has announced a leadership transition that will see Lara Camilleri and Mark Camilleri Gambin step into leading roles across its two flagship brands, Konnekt and Talexio, as the group positions itself for its next phase of growth.

Lara Camilleri

CEO Josef Said confirmed to MaltaCEOs.mt that Lara Camilleri will take the helm at Konnekt, while Mark Camilleri Gambin will lead Talexio. Meanwhile, Josef Said and Hazel Refalo will transition into Executive Director roles, focusing on supporting the new leadership team and driving the broader strategic growth of the group.

“After more than a decade of building together, it is time for the next chapter,” Mr Said said, describing the transition as one that has been in the making for some time.

He added that both appointees bring strong leadership credentials, noting that they are “exceptional leaders – sharp, committed and exceptionally capable,” and expressed confidence in handing over the reins.

The leadership change comes as the group continues to expand its operations, supported by a team of 97 employees across five countries.

KonnektTalexio was recently formed following the rebrand of Expedition42, bringing together its recruitment arm, Konnekt, and HR and payroll software platform, Talexio, under a single corporate identity. The move was aimed at strengthening the group’s positioning as a provider of integrated human capital solutions, while maintaining the distinct service offerings of its two core brands.

Konnekt, the group’s recruitment arm, is Malta’s leading talent acquisition partner, connecting businesses with the right people across a broad range of industries and seniority levels. With a deep understanding of the local market and a consultative approach that goes beyond CV matching, Konnekt drives meaningful career moves and helps organisations build the teams that fuel their growth.

Talexio, the group’s HR technology platform, offers a cloud-based suite covering human resources, recruitment and payroll functions. Designed to streamline internal processes through automation and user-friendly tools, the platform caters to organisations of varying sizes and industries. It has previously been recognised as ‘Best Cloud Based Solution’ at the Malta eBusiness Awards.

“The best organisations know how to renew themselves – and it starts with the right people,” Mr Said said.
