Izola Bank

Izola Bank has announced the resignation of Kurt Grima from Head of Finance and Treasury, effective 31st December 2025.

“There is no other matter concerning Mr Grima that requires disclosure,” the company announcement read.

Mr Grima joined Izola Bank in 2019 as a Senior Finance and Treasury Manager and was promoted to Head of Finance and Treasury in 2022. Throughout his tenure, he played a vital role in overseeing the bank’s financial operations and treasury functions, contributing significantly to its strategic growth.

With a strong and diverse background in the financial services industry, Mr Grima previously served as Group Financial Controller at Calamatta Cuschieri, one of Malta’s leading financial services firms.

Before this, he gained valuable experience at EY Malta, where he led assurance teams within the financial services sector as a Senior Auditor. He also held the position of accountant at MSV Live.

Mr Grima holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor, as well as a Fellow Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence.
