Leona Cassar Debono on Monday announced that she has been appointed Head of Human Resources (HR) Operations at Fast Track.

The announcement comes just seven months after she had initially joined the iGaming software company as HR Business Partner.

Prior to that, Ms Cassar Debono has worked at iGaming firm Hero Gaming for close to three years, initially as Senior People Partner and then as Head of People and Culture.

Her past experience also includes more than four years at GO plc, almost two years at SpotOn Connections, and two years at Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta.

Ms Cassar Debono holds a master’s degree in Management with HRM from University of Chester, together with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons) from University of Malta.

She describes herself as being able to leverage her skills and passion in talent strategy, performance, development, employer branding, and technology to “coach and support leaders and employees on all areas of people management.” This includes recruitment, retention, recognition, performance management, engagement, and succession planning.

Fast Track is a Malta-headquartered business-to-business software company aimed at digitalising the iGaming industry. It is engaged with operators all over the world, with offices in Malta, Sweden, Spain, and the United States.
