Nadia Pace, an executive mentor and a board member at VSF Malta, Bluerock Operations Limited, and Studioseven, among others, recently took to LinkedIn to reflect on her eight-year entrepreneurial journey.

Her candid post offered a glimpse into the triumphs and challenges of leaving the security of a full-time role to forge a path as an entrepreneur.

“Eight years ago, I took the leap into entrepreneurship, a decision that felt equal parts exhilarating and terrifying,” Ms Pace began.

She recalled how, in the early years, the comfort of a stable job lingered in her mind. “I constantly questioned myself, doubted the process, and wondered if I’d made the right choice,” she admitted.

Her transition from representing a brand to becoming her own brand was both a liberating and daunting experience. “Standing on my own two feet, with my name and work at the forefront, was both liberating and daunting,” she said.

For her, entrepreneurship has been as much about personal evolution as professional achievement. “The growth isn’t just vertical; It’s horizontal,” she noted, highlighting the diverse opportunities that come with the role.

“Diving into different industries, collaborating with diverse people, and navigating uncharted challenges has shaped me in ways I never imagined,” Ms Pace added.

Her reflection also emphasised the importance of perseverance and adaptability. “Eight years on, I’ve learned that growth comes from constantly pushing boundaries, learning, adapting, and adding value. And while I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I know this is just the beginning,” she concluded.
