Ludwig Micallef has joined RSM Malta as Director for Digital Transformation and AI.

“Mr Micallef brings nearly two decades of experience in technology, transformation, software engineering, project delivery, and business management across both the public and private sectors,” RSM Malta, a provider of audit, tax, advisory and consulting services, said.

RSM Malta said that his appointment further strengthens its advisory capabilities in technology-enabled business transformation, automation, and artificial intelligence.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Micallef said: "Digital transformation is no longer about implementing technology for its own sake. Organisations are looking for trusted advisors who can help translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes. My ambition is to further strengthen RSM Malta's position as a strategic partner that helps organisations improve the way they operate, strengthen decision-making, and create value through technology."

Karen Spiteri Bailey, Managing Principal at RSM Malta, said: “We are pleased to welcome Mr Micallef to RSM Malta at a time when digital transformation and AI are becoming central to how organisations plan, operate, and compete. His experience in leading complex transformation programmes, together with his understanding of both technology and business strategy, adds significant depth to our Digital service line.”

Prior to this appointment, Mr Micallef spent 19 years in technology consulting. He started at a local boutique technology company called Alert, which was eventually acquired by Deloitte in 2016, which became his entry point into the Big Four.
