Luke Attard-Montalto has been appointed Operations Lead at ARQ Group, following his departure from AIMS International Malta.

The appointment will see Mr Attard-Montalto focus on strengthening operational effectiveness and improving efficiency.

Speaking to MaltaCEOs.mt about his new role, Mr Attard-Montalto expressed his enthusiasm for joining the organisation and contributing to its development.

“With strong foundations already in place, I look forward to working alongside talented colleagues across the group to further strengthen operational effectiveness, support innovation and efficiency, and contribute to the business’s continued growth and long-term success.”

Dr Vanessa Borg, Chief Operating Officer at ARQ Group, said the appointment forms part of the organisation’s efforts to ensure its operations can accommodate further growth.

She added: “I’m excited to work with him as we enter our next phase of growth, and we look forward to the impact he will make across the group.”

Mr Attard-Montalto announced his departure from AIMS International Malta in a LinkedIn post, thinking back on his involvement in developing the company's local operations.

He explained that when he joined the organisation, its Maltese operations were still in their early stages, and that he had since contributed to expanding the business and establishing a foundation for further growth.

According to Mr Attard-Montalto, 2026 has been the company's strongest year to date across its operations.

“Throughout my career, I have always believed in one simple principle: leave things in a better state than you found them,” he wrote.

“As I close this chapter, I’m particularly pleased to be leaving on a high, with this year being our best yet on all fronts.”

He also acknowledged the support of the company's partners and employees, attributing its achievements to the collective efforts of the team.

“The results we have achieved are a direct reflection of your hard work, dedication, resilience, and commitment,” he said.

Reflecting on his departure, Mr Attard-Montalto described leaving a business he had helped develop as a difficult decision, while expressing pride in its progress.
