The AI for Good Innovation Factory, a flagship initiative of the United Nations, is coming to Malta  –  marking a significant moment for its tech landscape.

Spearheaded by Mellifera, in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), this initiative will empower startups and solopreneurs to create AI-driven solutions that tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges, from climate change to healthcare and education.

With Malta hosting this global program, the country will strengthen its position as a rising hub for artificial intelligence, aligning with its 2030 AI strategy and connecting local innovation with a global platform.

The AI for Good Innovation Factory Malta Bootcamp is now open for applications. Selected participants will gain access to mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities to refine their solutions and compete at the Malta finale in March 2025. The winner will advance to Geneva to represent Malta at the prestigious AI for Good UN Summit, pitching their ideas on a global stage.

“This is a great opportunity for Malta and the startups joining us,” says Artjoms Grivkovs, Mellifera Founder. “We’re proud to actively support AI development in Malta and turn its AI 2030 strategy into action.”

“This initiative has a perfect fit for a country like Malta which has made it its mission to be at the forefront in innovation, start-ups, and new technologies. AIFG is an opportunity for the jurisdiction to showcase its commitment towards innovations that are both ethical and sustainable” says Joseph Camilleri, Mellifera Chairman of the Board.

The program offers:

● A dedicated bootcamp to help teams grow their ideas into impactful projects.

● Direct access to industry leaders, investors, and mentors.

● A chance to compete on the world stage at the Geneva Grand Finale.

📢 Startups and solopreneurs can apply here.
