MediaTroopers has announced the appointment of Clinton Cutajar to the additional role of Director of AdPlatform, alongside his existing position as Chief Technology Officer.

In his expanded remit, Mr Cutajar will lead the development and growth of MediaTroopers’ proprietary media buying and optimisation platform, MediaCruiser, which provides clients with access to multiple traffic sources, advanced targeting options, and tools designed to help scale campaigns and maximise return on investment.

The appointment reflects Mr Cutajar’s long-standing involvement in the company’s technology strategy. Since joining MediaTroopers as CTO in December 2021, he has overseen the firm’s technology stack and innovation initiatives, managed mobile platform integrations, and developed tailored core platforms. With more than two decades of experience in technology operations and systems leadership, he brings extensive expertise to the role.

As Director of AdPlatform, Mr Cutajar will be responsible for driving the growth of MediaCruiser by overseeing its profit and loss performance, expanding revenue streams, connecting additional traffic sources, and further evolving the self-service AdPlatform to align with client requirements.

Commenting on the appointment, Shmulik Segal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at MediaTroopers, said, “His leadership and vision have been vital in driving innovation across our technology initiatives, and we’re confident that he will play a key role in growing MediaCruiser. Under his leadership, MediaCruiser will help MediaTroopers to deliver more intelligent, secure, and effective advertising solutions to our clients.”

Mr Cutajar said the new role would allow for closer alignment between technology and commercial strategy. “Taking on the additional role as Director of AdPlatform allows me to directly align technology, revenue, and growth strategy. The focus will be on exploring new revenue streams, connecting high-quality traffic sources, and continuing to evolve our self-service AdPlatform to meet client demand. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me with this role and look forward to strengthening our position as a scalable bridge between traffic supply and demand.”

Founded in 2019, MediaTroopers operates across more than 40 jurisdictions in North America and works with major gambling operators, including BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel and BetRivers. The company combines in-house media buying expertise, mobile advertising capabilities, and a robust technical infrastructure to acquire paying customers for leading global brands.
