Hamilton Travel paid tribute to its Founder and Chairman Norman Hamilton after he passed away yesterday.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mr Norman Hamilton,” the travel agency said.
"His vision, dedication and kindness left a lasting impression on Hamilton Travel, the travel industry and the many people who had the privilege of knowing him.”
“He was more than a business leader. He was a valued person, a trusted friend, son, husband, father, grand father and an important part of the community.”
“His legacy will remain at the heart of Hamilton Travel and will continue to inspire us for many years to come."

Mr Hamilton set up Hamilton Travel in 1992, with its first official tour a trip to Paris and Euro Disney.
In 1996, the agency became the exclusive Malta general sales agent for the global cruise line MSC Cruises.
Besides his business venture, Mr Hamilton was also a well-known TV personality, having presented long-running shows such as as Sibtijiet Flimkien with his wife Josette, and Bla Aġenda.
He died yesterday at the age of 85 following health problems.
