HSBC Malta announced that Morgan Carabott will be succeeding Anna Camilleri as its Head of Internal Audit.
Ms Carabott’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
The former Head of Internal Audit will now be taking up the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor at HSBC Canada.
Ms Carabott is a qualified accountant and auditor with an Accountancy Honours Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Malta.

She’s also a Computer Information Systems Auditor and a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
Prior to her latest appointment, Ms Carabott held the role of Deputy Head of Internal Audit at HSBC Malta for just over three years.
Before that, she worked at MAPFRE Middlesea as Senior Manager of Internal Audit and at KPMG Malta as Senior Auditor.
Ms Carabott is presently a Member of the Malta Bankers Association Executive Committee.
The appointments remain subject to regulatory approval.
