Bank of Valletta (BOV) announced earlier today that regulatory approval has been granted for the appointment of its new CFO, Izabela Banas.
The bank had initially announced Ms Banas’ appointment on 3rd March 2021, with effect from 1st March. She replaced BOV’s interim CFO Marisa Abdilla.
Prior to her employment at BOV, Ms Banas occupied the position of Managing Director CFO – EMEA Private Banking as well as Global Private Banking COO at HSBC Group in London.
She has also worked in various senior positions within the finance teams of a number of renowned international organisations including but not limited to General Electric Company, Elster Group, and Willis Group.
He is highly experienced in sales and wealth management within the international financial services sector.
