SANCHO Co-Founder and Managing Director (MD) Mario Cachia on Thursday announced that he has completed his exit from the marketing agency, eight years after it was established.

He remarked that the past few months marked his departure, putting to an end an eight-year journey that saw the company go from a “two-man venture to a bustling team of marketing and creative professionals.”

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to all those with whom I’ve crossed paths. My professional ethos was always anchored in fostering meaningful relationships with all clients, suppliers, and collaborators that I worked with on a daily basis, guided by values I hold dear: unwavering commitment, integrity, and honest,” he explained.

Over the years, Mr Cachia has specialised in innovative communication methods and consultancy, having spearheaded projects within various sectors including politics, communication, marketing, higher education and non-profits.

In October 2015, Mr Cachia and Matthew Spiteri founded SANCHO, a Malta-based marketing agency that specialises in graphic design, creative direction, digital media, modern and innovative marketing strategies, social media management, and web.

Mr Cachia said that through the team’s work, together with the relationships he fostered, SANCHO worked on “hundreds of new brands, activations, campaigns, events, and endless digital marketing initiatives.”

“From all around Malta to the corners of Europe and beyond, I am grateful to having managed to positively influence clients’ businesses, through work which seamlessly integrated their objectives and aspirations with strategic marketing efforts that brough impactful and measurable results,” he continued.

He expressed gratitude to both present and previous members of the team, who “were always more than just colleagues” to him, as they served as “integral partners and friends.” Their respect and passion, even during the most challenging times, proved to be the “cornerstone” of SANCHO’s success. “And for this I have nothing but words of praise and gratitude,” Mr Cachia affirmed.

“As I transition out and leave the company in great shape, I genuinely hope that the growth and successes achieved in the past years continue to flourish towards newer heights,” he added.

Mr Cachia said that he will not be taking a short break to “recharge and refocus,” while also taking this chance to look at new opportunities and create “new exciting paths,” all with the “same passion and values” that have been dear to him over the years.

Mr Cachia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Arts in Creativity and Innovation, both from University of Malta.
