Peter Zäll, Chief Strategy Officer at Betsson Group, has announced his retirement, marking the end of a successful six-and-a-half-year tenure with the Malta-based online gambling giant.

In a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, Mr Zäll reflected on his time with the company and shared his plans for the next chapter of his life.

He expressed gratitude for his colleagues and the leadership team at Betsson Group. “I’m so grateful for my last bosses Pontus Lindwall and Jesper Svensson. An amazing journey, with six consecutive record ATH years and so much fun along the way!” he wrote.

The outgoing Chief Strategy Officer also highlighted Betsson’s strong organisational culture and the camaraderie he experienced during his tenure. “A company with great culture and amazing professional and fun colleagues from all over the world! My closest colleagues have been simply outstanding (you know who you are!),” he added.

As Mr Zäll steps away from his corporate responsibilities, he is preparing to relocate to Estepona, Spain, where he plans to spend more time focusing on personal pursuits. The “next chapter includes a move to Spain, Estepona, and a bit more focus on family, friends, travel, padel and golf!” he shared, adding with a hint of humour, “but if time goes too slow… I might take up some consultancy/board work later on.”
