Lufthansa Teknik Malta Limited has announced Ramona Galea as its new Head of People and Culture.

Ms Galea brings extensive experience in human resources and organisational development. Earlier this year she was awarded the status of Chartered Fellow (Chartered FCIPD) by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Throughout her career, Ms Galea has built a strong reputation for leading HR strategy, navigating complex organisational challenges and championing people development.

“No stranger to our world, Ramona shares our passion for aviation, and will no doubt make a lasting contribution to our leadership team, our company and of course to our most important asset, our people,” Lufthansa said in its LinkedIn post.

Ms Galea spent the past six years at ARQ Group, where she was appointed Director of the People and Performance department last year.

In her remarks, Ramona emphasised that the position is more than a formal role, describing it as a commitment to listening, challenging established practices and supporting the more than 550 employees at Lufthansa Technik Malta.

“While the road ahead won’t always be easy, I believe it is through challenges that we grow, unlock potential and build stronger, more resilient teams,” she shared to LinkedIn.

She highlighted the importance of fostering a culture where contributions are valued, strong performance is recognised, and everyone feels part of the company’s future.

“I look forward to learning from you, building with you, and celebrating shared success,” she concluded.
