Long-standing Betsson Group employee Robert Gatt has been promoted to Head of External Platforms at the Ta’ Xbiex-based company.

Founded in 1963, Betsson Group is a multi-national company employing around 1,800 people from over 55 nationalities across 10 locations. The group operates about 20 brands, including GUTS, NordicBet, InkaBet, RIZK, and SuperCasino.

Mr Gatt joined Betsson Group as Senior Project Manager in November 2018. He held said role for two-and-a-half years before being appointed Program Manager Regulatory Markets. Mr Gatt spent 10 months in said position, up until his most recent promotion.

Before joining Betsson Group, Mr Gatt built up a wealth of managerial experience at a series of local companies.

From November 2014 to October 2018, he served as QA Manager at RS2 Software plc. Mr Gatt was appointed to said role after almost seven years at Vodafone Malta.

During said period he served as Software Developer & Implementation Officer, Demand & Project Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager.
