Robert Meachen has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at CMA CGM Malta Agency Ltd.
Mr Meachen has worked with the agency for several years and was previously Operations Manager.
CMA CGM is an international shipping and logistics group headquartered in France with operations around the world.
It utilises the Malta Freeport as one of its major Mediterranean transhipment hubs, having transferred operations from Egypt in 1997.
In 2004, the Maltese Government granted CMA CGM a 35-year concession, later extended to 65 years, to run Malta’s container terminal.
