Roderick Attard on Tuesday announced that he has joined Tumas Gaming Group in the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Mr Attard is a seasoned finance professional with ample C-level experience, having served as CFO at iGaming affiliate firm Acroud in his previous role.

Announcing his latest adventure to his LinkedIn network, Mr Attard wrote: “Feels great to be back in business”.

Tumas Gaming operates the Casino Division within Tumas Group and traces its roots to 1998 with the Qawra Oracle Casino, which expanded to include The Casino at Portomaso in June 2006.

In all, Tumas Gaming employs circa 300 employees and operates over 300 slot machines and 21 live gaming tables.

Mr Attard’s journey with Acroud began in 2017, when he was engaged as a Financial Controller at Highlight Media Group, which was then acquired by the iGaming affiliate company.

He also served as Operational CFO before he was named Head of Finance at Acroud in 2020. He worked as CFO at the firm for over a year, during which time he was responsible for the financial reporting, policies, and internal process of the group, among other tasks.

Prior to that, he worked at KPMG Malta for more than seven years in various roles, including as Audit Manager. During his time there, he also had a six-month experience as Assistant Manager at KPMG Channel Islands.

Mr Attard holds a Bachelor of Accounting in Accounting and Auditing and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, both from University of Malta.
