Rootz Ltd Head of Human Resources (HR) Christine Hili on Monday shared that she has now returned to work after five months away.

During those months, she was on the “incredible journey of motherhood”, where she spent time with her newborn baby. “Grateful for the time spent with my little one, and excited to dive back to work and do what I love most,” she said.

Finding time for both work and family can be difficult, especially for new parents, yet Ms Hili is eager to get started, saying: “Here’s to embracing the balance between these two worlds.”

Given her time away from Rootz’s offices, she noted that she is looking forward to catching up with both old and new colleagues.

“Let’s do this,” she concluded.

Ms Hili has worked as Head of HR at Rootz since 2020, where she is tasked with working with other heads of departments in order to discuss the strategies for succession planning, talent management, change management, organisational and performance management, recruitment retention, training and development, and compensation, among other roles.

She has over 12 years of prior experience in HR, having also worked at Weavr.io, Comlux, and Konnekt. Ms Hili holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) in Social Wellbeing from University of Malta.
