RS2 has unveiled a series of significant leadership appointments aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and bolstering its global presence.

Jens Mahlke promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Jens Mahlke, formerly the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RS2, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mr Mahlke has been with RS2 since 2019 and brings with him a wealth of international experience, having worked in various leadership roles across the payments industry. He will now oversee the operational aspect of RS2’s business globally, focusing on streamlining processes to ensure the company’s growth objectives are met.

Fiona Ciappara Cascun appointed as Chief Financial Officer 

Fiona Ciappara Cascun, who has been with RS2 for over 15 years, will step into the role of CFO.

During her tenure at the company, she has held various senior finance roles, most recently serving as Group Financial Controller. Ms Ciappara Cascun is a Certified Public Accountant and a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants, bringing extensive expertise in corporate finance, audit, and taxation.

Funda Taha takes on role of Chief Marketing Officer

Funda Taha has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She joins RS2 from Al-Futtaim Group, where she held the role of Head of Marketing for their financial services division.

With a career spanning over 20 years in marketing leadership across sectors including financial services, Ms Taha is expected to drive the company’s market positioning and customer engagement strategies.
