Salvo Grima Group (SGG) has been appointed as the national distributor for Danone in Rwanda, Africa, the company announced earlier today.

With operations in eight countries and over 150 employees, SGG specialises in ship supply, yacht provisioning, wholesale, travel retail, and distribution services.

Danone is a leading food and beverages brand producing dairy, plant-based, and medical nutrition products with representation in over 120 countries.

“We are proud Salvo Grima Group has been chosen by one of the biggest names in the food industry,” SGG CEO Karl Aquilina said.

SGG commenced its distribution of Danone products in Rwanda on 1st June 2021.

“This new venture enables us to build on the infrastructure and expertise we have already established in Rwanda,” the CEO continued.

Salvo Grima Group employs a team of Rwanda-based staff which in turn runs a showroom and a network of nine depots with a local logistics partner.
