Wayne Formosa has announced that he has joined Herd Gaming as Chief Financial Officer, marking the latest leadership appointment at the newly launched iGaming company.

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Mr Formosa described the move as an opportunity to be part of “a start-up journey”, adding that the project stood out for its “strong ambition, energy, and plenty of potential”.

“Being part of a start-up journey means embracing challenges, thinking creatively, and helping build something special from the ground up, which makes this journey even more exciting,” he wrote.

According to Herd Gaming, the company was founded by experienced industry professionals focused on building “exceptional products and experiences.”

Mr Formosa brings more than a decade of experience in the iGaming industry to the role. Prior to joining Herd Gaming, he served as Financial Controller at High Roller Technologies. He also previously held the role of Finance Manager at Aurora Holdings and worked as an accountant at Apex Group Ltd, among other finance-related positions.

Academically, Mr Formosa graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Commerce before obtaining a Master’s degree in Accounting.
